I’m Sal, also known as “The One and Only”. I’ve had to set this site up because of the constant problems I’ve been having with NEXTDOOR. Being 90, I have nothing else to do but tell of my adventures, and there were plenty! You’ll find that I end most sentences with an !, exclamation point, mainly because I’m excited as I write and I’m trying to show excitement. another way I write is to first use “Dictate”, and since my having a lower New York accent, It changes a lot of my words, and when I read afterwards what I write, I fix the most mistakes. However, sometimes I miss them.

 Many of you who will have come to this site are from NEXTDOOR, know who and what I am all about. A few on Nextdoor have written back saying I’m throwing the bull”, exaggerating but all that I write is truly what I have experienced!  So, come on board and “READ”, but please write as well on your experiences, or even just one as everybody has one little experience. It is also nice and important that reactions to stories are made! For two reasons, one to thank the writer and give your opinion of the writing.

    Hi Sal… I’m glad you have told your stories here. It seems the minute you post on Next door, people are reporting you.. now we can enjoy and read the full story and not have it disappear. Welcome back and I’m going to read your stories in their entirety 😉 Jules

    Sal, I have left several comments but none have been posted yet. Are you using this site still? It seems you again have left Nextdoor, probably due to getting reported again.

      Welcome here, but I’m not as literate as most people with “Online stuff” when you get to be my age, your memory doesn’t work as it did at one time. Givemea little time and this site will be great and with no interference and control! Sal

      Yes, I loved writing on Nextdoor, but there is one guy name Bobby ?? Who for over a year has openly criticized my writings as being untrue or my bragging! I’ve told him I’ve never lied once, but he kept insisting, then he just disappeared, but then the blocking began and my being stopped for a week, then a month, and again and again! One former reviewer told me that they had no right stopping for what i was writing, as she read all that I’ve written and saw no reason to close me down! But i have found that is life! Me, now at 91 have a better life than those who are trying to stop me! My memories of what I’ve accomplished in my life and doing it all in fun and adventure is all that really matters!

      I got back on Nextdoor Well, I was just allowed back in to next door and I put in a story that I had put in once before, but had use the word that was not accepted so they shut me down. I sent the same story back again eliminating the word that was bad and it still got me shut down for three days so now I have to wait two more days before I’m back on the glass door. It’s no longer fun having to check every sentence that I’ve written years ago to be allowed to write on next-door. Please come to my site and read what people write in answer to my stories and my explanation to them, by doing so I make a new friend and we can then talk as friends.

      In case you don’t have it, my site is called: salsstories.com ! As im learning how to properly be the administrator, I will try to add a story a day. You may have already read some of them on next-door, but because I have no way to find out what I originally put on next-door. I have to stop. From scratch and probably be repeating many stories!

      I would like to stop here and tell him an experience I had today. Well while being in CVS. I had to wait for my drugs, which by the way were for a painful and itchy rash I got from touching a vine that grew mysteriously over my fence. For the next couple of days I won’t be wearing a shirt. Which sleeves because the rash needs to be open to the air and with any quartz touching it it was fresh even further. So back to CVS while waiting. I looked at the very small rack that now he’ll magazines of the day. Honey, we’re about 10 to 12 different magazines that I never heard of before what happened to life what happened to all the other brands don’t see any. However, one studio stood out and it was a magazine. What about soups? 50 different types of soup having to wait I looked into it and found paradise yes to make soups. And I only dreamed of could be mine to do if I bought the magazine, which I naturally did. My first attempt will be to famous French onion soup, or how about Pasta e Fagioli… or how we pronounced it pasta vasuule!

      As I look through the book, I’m amazed at the wonderful soup that I could not make, it will be fun exclamation point are you still living watching my mother make meals for us always fast always delicious and most support devil always with love. So all I can say is “Soups on“!

      So here I go home first to find a new story, no, not no true sorry to put here for you to read and for me to remember.

      Yes im learning how to properly be an administrator! Thank you for your thoughts and I’ll be putting more on hereas the days pass! Please that now my memory is faulty and because of it, it take me more time then normal to accomplish anything!
